Came on a whim and left happy.
We were in luck when we stopped by for dinner on a Sunday because it's all dat HH on Sunday!
This place is tapas style so portions were a little bit on the smaller side for sharing.
We got passion fruit margaritas. This was amazing! The perfect balance of tart and sweetness. And towards the bottom, it gets a bit strong.
The fish tacos were interesting but yummy. They were pretty tiny though.
The ceviche was so good. Fresh with great flavors.
Shrimp tostado was another favorite. I wish they were bigger.
Lomo Saltados were also really yummy. Beef with fries and gravy. Heavy but comforting. -

Went here for an early dinner the other day, seated right away at a great secluded table. They have great decorations and it was a lovely restaurant. We ordered sangria and 2 pisco drinks that were delicious!! they have awesome cocktails and would definitely come back for the drinks!
Food on the other hand wasn't impressive, not enough flavor or texture. It was bland and nothing stood out.
I will be back for drinks! -

Came here on a Saturday evening before a concert. My bf and I shared a ceviche mixto with plantain chips, pickled veggies, and a lomo saltado. Overall, we weren't particularly impressed with our meal compared to our dining experiences at other Peruvian restaurants. The prices did not match with the quality.
Lomo saltado: the sirloin was too dry. We both wished it was more tender. It seemed like it was just cooked for too long. Other than that, I really liked the rice (there's big pieces of Peruvian corn in it) and there was a good amount of fries). I don't recommend getting this. I
Ceviche mixto: not a fan of the chipotle tiger sauce-- I would've preferred just simple lime juice. Other than that, it was pretty good.
The pickled veggies weren't at all what I was expecting, but it was interesting. It's a tiny dish of sliced up veggies marinated in oil.
I probably won't be back any time soon, but I would be willing to give this place another shot and try other things on their menu. -

Yum. Many years ago I had a voucher for this place which I never used. Came on a whim on a Tuesday to see what I had missed.
Ordered two tapas and they were so good I had one more. Ceviche (they had two kinds). Was spicy and fresh. Yuka croquettes with micro greens. Grilled shrimp with garlic over puréed plantains.
Really great flavors.
Good wine list. I had the Catalan garnacha.
Great meal.
Place was absolutely empty on a Tuesday night. -

First time at Destino. I was invited to a Chamber of Commerce held at this location. Ambiance was extraordinary, workers where very cozy and accommodating. Met owner James, very down to earth individual, gave me a family vibe, very humble. Initially invited us a variety of delicious fried empanadas. (Beef one being my favorite) and some amazing fried quinoa balls with a very tasty green dip. Then to conclude the event, some fried slices of plantain chips with an orange, very savory sauce that I couldn't get enough of. Overall, great experience, looking to come back and try their full menu!
